Food.
The first rule of hospitality is that nothing upsets a guest more than over-promising and under-delivering.

The food you will be served will not be fine dining fare but it will be homely, plentiful, well-executed and very, very tasty. And the ongoing feedback we now receive suggests that this is hitting the spot.

Drinks.

After welcome drinks with bubbly on the first night, beer & wine are free-flowing between when you arrive back from skiing in the late afternoon until the end of dinner.

These are the wines that we propose for the 2017/ 18 season:

Bubbles:
Belstar Prosecco – Fresh apple and pear aromas with a hint of blossom. Medium-bodied with citrus fruit, creamy mousse and a fresh, clean finish. This sparkling wine is versatile and fun and can be enjoyed with appetizers or as an aperitif
White:
Chemin des Pins Sauvignon Blanc 2015
– This wine is so lip-smackingly fresh and crisp, it just demands another glass. You’ll find all the classic Sauvignon characteristics of lemon, lime and green grass, but there are hints of slightly riper fruit, too
***
Domaine de Cibadies Chardonnay 2015
– This well rounded Chardonnay is a nice straw yellow color. Complex and intense nose with flavours of citrus, peaches, apricots and dried fruits, as well as vanilla and floral notes. The mouth is full, harmonious and well rounded
Red:
Domaine la Berthete 2015
– With a brilliant and intense colour, this juicy Côtes-du-Rhône shows all the classic Rhône notes of dark berry fruits and spice, particularly pepper and rosemary
***
Rare Vineyards Carignan Vielles Vignes 2015
– A delightfully aromatic red, followed through by a pretty palate of dark baked fruit. This wine is very versatile and can be drunk with a range of foods from fish and seafood, pastas, meats and cheeses

Our Opinion

A great chalet as long as location suits your needs.
