Obergurgl
Obergurgl is a high altitude resort in the Austrian Tirol region. The resort is incredibly popular thanks to it’s village ambiance, snow sure skiing and family atmosphere. It might not be as lively as some of it’s close neighbours but the quieter, more intimate nature is the main reason why skiers flock back to Obergurgl year after year.
Overview
Obergurgl is one of the highest resorts in Austria; as such it attracts skiers in their droves looking for a snow sure alternative to the French mega-resorts. The village is quaint, in spite of its purpose built nature and very quiet. Resulting in a cult status amongst families with many skiers returning year after year to profit from the quiet slopes and family friendly atmosphere.
