Overview
The Mini Gabl is located at the top of the Chalet Gertrud Gabl in the secluded Stadle area of the resort, just above Oberdorf for those in the know. The town centre and Galzig-Bahn gondola is a 10 minute downhill walk, a little longer on the way home. However, guests tend to jump on the efficient resort bus service and leave their skis each evening at the ski hire rental shop that the chalet operator recommends. (Free if rented, otherwise small daily charge).
The property itself is a rare beast, a genuine 4 person property in this popular resort. It can also sleep an extra child so a family of 5 are more than welcome to stay. The property is completely self contained with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is also very spacious when you consider it only sleeps 4 guests. There is a comfy seating area with TV and DVD too.
We love this little apartment and it seems so do many others, early booking is therefore necessary.

Our opinion
A real hit of a chalet, new to the books for this year, the Mini Gabl is the first catered chalet for just 4 guests and it is understandably popular. A great choice for a family or a small group of friends looking for their own place.
Chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Start every morning with an extensive continental breakfast, and cooked options on most days. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and free-flowing wine throughout the week, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week leaving you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.
