Le Manoir, sleeps 12, Alpe d’Huez

A high quality chalet with a hot tub for 12 guests in a ski in, ski out location

Overview

Chalet Le Manoir is located in one of the best locations in the resort, these chalets overlook the pistes, nursery slopes and ski lifts too. The resort centre with its good selection of shops and bars are just 100m from the front door.

The chalet itself is relatively new although the overall impression is one of tradition. The stone walls, slate roofs and timber floors scream Alpine. Not is all as it seems though, the chalets all have the various “mod cons” that are synonymous with the breed of luxury ski chalets.

Chalet Le Manoir is ski to the door with a wet suite comprising of a hot tub and sauna. The cosy living room has an open fire and a TV with UK freeview and a blu-ray DVD player. The chalet has its own iPad and a BOSE music centre with iPod connectivity. There are hairdryers in each bedroom and the ski room has boot warmers. I think that’s everything!

Le Manoir is a dedicated family chalet, meaning infants and children are always welcome in the chalet regardless of date of travel. As a family ski destination, it doesn’t get much better than this. The nursery slope is outside the front door and you can also book for an extra charge a private nanny to look after the kids whilst you make the most of the incredible ski area.

Our opinion

One of the most popular chalets in this resort. The property is not only ski to the door but it has the hot tub and sauna too. It can be expensive but generally worth it.
