Overview
Chalet Tissieres is located in Chamonix Valley, in the pretty hamlet of Les Bossons. There is a resort bus stop very close to the chalet which means getting to and from the cosmopolitan centre of Chamonix is a doddle. The chalet staff also lay on a driver service in the mornings and afternoons so you’ll be dropped off at your chosen ski area in the mornings and picked up later in the day.
The property has a very large living/dining area which can cater for up to 24 guests if required. The chalet also benefits from an outdoor hot tub in the large garden looking out into the winter wonderland.
The 8 bedrooms can accommodate from 16-20 guests with flexible rooming layouts.
For larger groups there is the Chalet Tiki Lodge which the group can over flow into with an extra 6 beds.

Our opinion
A brilliant location from which to explore the amazing different ski areas on offer. The pick up/drop off service is a real coup.
Home cooking is a great backbone to the cuisine at Chalet Tissieres, but the chef loves to take this further and explore; utilising influences from Europe & further afield.
Breakfast
Whether you have a strenuous or more relaxed mountain day planned, your team understand that the right breakfast is key to getting you off to a great start. With this in mind, breakfasts offer a variety of European flavours, including fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissants, pain au chocolat and fresh warm bread with cheeses, meats and cereals of your choice. In addition you’ll be served breakfast items such as pancakes, eggs & porridge on various days throughout the week.
Afternoon Tea
You will be welcomed back from the mountain to the warm atmosphere of the chalet, with some hot drinks, along with some freshly baked cakes and nibbles.
Dinner
Dinner is the highlight of the evening, key to this is setting the right atmosphere. With the fire going and the candles glowing, relaxing music in the background and everyone with rosy cheeks fresh from their alpine day, dinner is served.

- Seared salmon carpacio with a ginger & spring onion sauce
- Seared Foie, braised pork belly, cranberry puree

- Roast rib of beef, fondant potato & horse radish cream
- Pan fried cod fillet, pearl barley risotto with a pancetta foam

- Pear tart fine, whisky and hazelnut praline, crystallised thyme
- Vanilla panacota & roast figs

Our winter package includes excellent wines as part of your catered service & each evening and you will be treated to a hand-picked and well researched menu to complement our fine food.
We serve a host of classic French wines from the Bordeaux, Rhone, Laugadoc regions, to name but a few, to give our guests a real taste of this country’s famous produce. Additionally, and because we are so close to Italy, you will find some fab Tuscan, Umbrian and Piamonte reds and whites to complete the picture.
