Grizzli, sleeps 10-12, La Plagne

A gorgeous, moden chalet apartment in the perfect location. It has a private hot tub too!

Overview

Chalet Grizzli is a brand new chalet for the 17/18 season. It’s located in Montchavin, a traditional Alpine village located in the La Plagne ski area. The gondola that links La Plagne and Les Arcs is in the same village, meaning you have both ski areas practically on your doorstep! The chalet itself is located practically next to the “Les Coches” cable car so the ski access is very convenient indeed.

The chalet is spacious, spread over 4 floors, it sleeps 10-12 guests in 5 en suite rooms and each of them has a view of Mont Blanc.  The living room and dining room is one large open plan space with comfy sofas around the fireplace. The living room also boasts a full length balcony.

The piece de resistance is the roof terrace with it’s private hot tub.

*Please note, this chalet is also available on a self-catered basis for 2020/2021 season.

This chalet only employs professional chefs who have had experience in restaurants. You will have the opportunity to eat restaurant-quality food every night, exquisitely presented and tasty to match. The chefs design and set their own menus, which means they are passionate about what they create. They also know that skiers don’t want tiny portions, so they ensure that your dinners will also satisfy the hungriest of athletes!

Your holiday in this chalet consists of five fully-catered days including breakfast, afternoon tea and a 4-course dinner. The staff have two days off so that you get the opportunity to sample the local cuisine in the village in the evening (as continental breakfast and afternoon tea are still provided, even on the days-off).

Breakfast is plentiful, with a choice of cereals, croissants and breads, fruit yoghurts, porridge – and a cooked option 5 days out of 7. Not just an egg slapped on your plate though – they will serve a variety of sausages, bacon, beans, mushrooms, eggs done all ways throughout the week (as well as other great breakfast options as individually chosen by your chef too!)

Afternoon tea is a tradition not to be missed after a long day on the slopes. A freshly baked cake or biscuits, French baguettes and a selection of teas and filter coffee waiting on the table for your arrival. On colder days mulled wine may await you on your return!

Dinners are sumptuous 4-course affairs, using fresh, seasonal ingredients, ending with a selection of local cheeses to try. Dinners are accompanied by unlimited, bottled red and white wine at the table.
