Les Carroz

Les Carroz is at the base of the ski area and snow can therefore be a problem in the early or late season. The skiing around the village is all tree lined and therefore a great place to ski when the bad weather rolls in!

BEGINNERS:

There is a nursery slope in the village centre and a couple of blue pistes amongst the trees just above the resort.

INTERMEDIATES:

Les Carroz is best suited to intermediates, thanks a large selection of blues and reds. Ski up to the bowl in Flaine for some steep reds or stick to the blues amongst the trees on the way down to Morillon.

EXPERTS:

Not a great choice for experts, the Grand Massif does have some excellent off piste terrain although it can be deceptively dangerous so get yourself a guide and some good insurance.

Not a huge amount of choice but Carpe Diem and Marlow Bar are worth a visit. There is a club in the village too, Club 74.
