A self-catered apartment with incredible views and quirky decor throughout

Chalet Les Grands Sorbiers is a quirky apartment set across 5 floors, located in the peaceful Renarde area of Meribel. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the nearest piste, where you can ski down to the main lift area of La Chaudanne. If you’re looking for some nightlife or restaurants in the evening, then the main town centre is about 10-15 minutes walk downhill from the chalet, but you can always opt to take the free ski bus that stops nearby. Just remember, it’s going to take you a little longer to walk back up the hill so don’t miss that last bus!

The apartment sleeps 6-8 guests in traditional wooden-clad rooms all with private facilities. The open plan dining and living space is perfect for enjoying views over the whole of Meribel and catching up on stories from your day in the mountains. The sofa can also be used as a bed for the 8th guest, so ideally the chalet really works for groups of friends or a family.

One of the bedrooms in particular boasts sensational views – you can lay in bed and look out of the window up the valley… leave the curtains open at night and you can sleep under the stars and wake up to see sunrise over the valley. Does it get more beautiful than that?!
