A gorgeous hotel in one of our all time favourite resorts
Overview
Hotel Le Grand Aigle is a smart, modern hotel in a convenient location close to the centre of Villeneuve. The property is the happy recipient of a recent refurbishment and we think the results speak for themselves. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bar and dining room are modern and inviting. The spa facility is really lovely indeed, with a hot tub and sauna in which to soak those bones after a hard day on the slopes.
The rooms come in two classes, either classic or deluxe. All of which have their own bathrooms. There are double rooms, triple rooms and family rooms too. This flexibility is a god-send for families with specific room requirements.
Our opinion
A really lovely hotel, we love the location too. Close to the skiing but also close to Le Bez, a small enclave of shops and restaurants which feels very much like a small Alpine village all on its own.
