Hotel Compagnoni, sleeps 50, Cervinia
A traditional B&B hotel in an ideal location
Overview
Close to the ski lifts and in the centre of town, the great-value Hotel Compagnoni is in an ideal location, making it a popular pick for families. Inside, it’s got a cosy and traditional look, with lots of wood pannelling and alpine décor dotted around. The place was built by famous climber Achille Compagnoni, who reached the summit of K2 in 1954. These days, it’s handy base for your own mountain exploring, both on the slopes and around the resort.
When your ski day’s done, you can pay a little extra for a relaxing session in the spa. Sit back in the steam room and sauna, then step into the rainfall shower for some rejuvenation. And when it comes to fueling up in the mornings, the daily breakfast buffet does the trick.
