A good-quality chalet in a quiet location 5 minutes from the slopes
Overview
The Fauner is located just above the town centre with views towards the Rendl mountain. The town centre with its selection of shops and lively night-spots is a 5 minute downhill walk away. It’s a little longer on the way home due to its hillside location so guests tend to jump on the efficient resort bus service and stops almost at the end of the driveway. Guests can also leave their ski equipment at the ski hire shop that the chalet operator works with. (Free if rented, otherwise small daily charge).
The Fauner A is in the same building as its little brother, Fauner B. It sleeps 16 guests over 8 en suite rooms. The Fauner A is on the lower two floors of the building and there is a lift in the chalet to save tiring those legs before you hit the slopes. The living and dining room are open plan with cosy sofas and a couple of “tub” chairs too. The rooms are all en suite and of a good size. There is also a sauna in the property too.

Board basis
A catered chalet which includes breakfast with hot options, afternoon tea and cakes, pre-dinner canapés with sparkling wine as well as a four-course evening meal with wine and soft drinks. This is all prepared by in-house chefs.
Each week there is a chalet night off, this is normally a Tuesday or Wednesday. On this day you’ll still get breakfast as well as the afternoon tea, however, there’ll be no evening meal. The chalet staff can help you with booking restaurants or simply recommending places to try.
