Kitzbuhel

Test yourself on some legendary slopes and enjoy the Tyrolean Alpine charm of the town

Overview

Kitzbuhel is a famous ski town with over 125 years of successful skiing history and provides a holiday destination full of tradition and Alpine charm in the 750-year-old city centre. Despite being a relatively low resort, the slopes surrounding the town go up to 2000m with the highest point at the Kitzbuheler Horn.

When you’re out skiing during the day, sample one of 60 mountain huts for a Tyrolean lunch experience before tackling some of the toughest skiing in the Alps, including the legendary Hahnenkamm; it’s not for the faint hearted!

Kitzbuhel and the surrounding villages also offer winter experiences such as cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ski touring, curling and ice skating so there really is something for all the family.
