The skiing:

The skiing on offer is extensive and best suits beginners to intermediates. You will see and hear the words “Sella Ronda” a fair amount, this is the biggest ski route in the Dolomites and Selva takes pride of place as one of the main destinations.

Beginners:

There are several nursery slopes are resort level, the small selection of pistes next to the Danterepies gondola are the best bet for “never skied before” guests. For beginners looking to progress, the best bet is to jump on the bus and head up to Pan de Gralba for a nice selection of cruisy, gentle pistes.

Intermediates:

Intermediates is what the Sella Ronda ski area does best. Lots of cruisy runs all over the resort. Very difficult to pick a highlight as the entire area is so geared towards intermediate skiers and boarders.

Advanced:

Advanced skiers looking to test out their skills will find a few highlights but are generally kept happy by the sheer amount of pistes to play on.

Selva is quite a lively resort and offers enough bars to keep all but the most hardcore après-skiers happy for the week. Remember that Selva was actually part of Austria for many years! Stua Bar is located at the foot of the slopes and a popular choice for the first après drink. Other highlights include Luislkeller and Kronestube and for those looking to stay out til the wee hours, try Yello or Dali, the two resort clubs.
