Saas Fee

The area is quite small, intermediate skiers will certainly be able to cover the area in its entirety in a week. Advanced skiers will find the area a touch limiting although many skiers take an away day over to Zermatt to sample the skiing over there.

The area is best suited to beginners and low intermediates.

BEGINNERS:

Saas Fee is a GREAT choice for beginners because it offers high altitude nursery slopes offering good snow conditions throughout the season. There is also a separate nursery slope area just outside of the village which gives beginners their own area, away from those pesky skiers whizzing past and putting you off!

INTERMEDIATES:

A great choice although it does lack some seriously testing reds. It is much more about easy, flattering skiing around a stunningly beautiful ski area.

EXPERTS:

Not enough kilometres of piste or difficult slopes to keep an experienced skier on their toes. Zermatt is close by for an away day and Saas Fee does have some excellent ski touring possibilities.

Lots to choose from, Apres tends to kick off at the Black Bull and Zur Muhle which are found at the foot of the slopes. The main street tends to attract revelers in the evening, Dom Bar, Fee Bar and Popcorn tend to be the most popular.
