A modern chalet with great ski access and amazing views
Overview
Chalet Chouette is located slap-bang in the centre of Morzine, with the bars, restaurants, shops and ice rink right on your doorstep. From here you’re also only 260 metres from the Pleney chairlift or, a slightly longer walk in the other direction… 350 metres to be exact… will get you to the Super Morzine chairlift opening up the Avoriaz ski area.
It sleeps up to 10 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms, one of which is a large quad room making this chalet a perfect option for families. Curl up on the sofas to watch a film in front of the fire in the evenings, or enjoy a relax in the sauna downstairs which is shared with the sister chalet, Chalet Hibou.
There is also heated boot racks and ski storage, as well as a shower room for use on departure day if you’re desperate for those last few hours of piste time!
Our opinion
They really have thought of everything; good quality in a great location with flexibility for families too.
Chalet Chouette has 3 levels, the first floor has one twin/ensuite bedroom then the second level consists of the main living area with an open plan kitchen/dining and living area and 2 bedrooms then the 3rd floor has the large family room.
Chalet Chouette and Chalet Hibou share a sauna/shower room on the ground level of the building and there are also heated boot warmers in the main entrance and secure ski storage outside the chalets.
